Please Note: Dungeon Scouts has moved to Montreal, Canada. Though I plan to run workshops in my new locality, I obviously can't run them in San Diego any longer. This page is going to remain here as written, though I plan to update it once I have more information.
Troop Workshops
If you're a Girl Scout troop leader in San Diego County, and would like to schedule a TRPG workshop for your girls, please contact me to schedule one. I am a GS troop leader myself, and I have been background checked by the GSUSA. I will also consider arranging for weekday workshops for troops in Orange County, as I work in that area Monday through Friday.
Please be aware of the following details when you contact me:
Proceeds from TRPG Workshops are to be donated to SHARE (Share Her Annual Real Expense), a charity that provides money and resources to disadvantaged girls who would otherwise be unable to afford to participate in Girl Scouts. Some part of your donation will also be used to purchase additional workshop supplies (such as dice, pencils, paper, and patches), which will enable Dungeon Scouts to run additional workshops in the months and years to come.
Thank you for your interest in the TRPG Workshop. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, don't hesitate to let me know!
Please be aware of the following details when you contact me:
- The price for the workshop is $7.50 per girl. Proceeds benefit SHARE and support future workshops.
- Girls will learn about tabletop RPGs, create their own unique characters, and participate in an original adventure.
- Cost also includes a set of seven polyhedral dice, a dice bag, and a TRPG patch for each girl.
- I can accommodate between 4 and 8 girls per session. If you wish to group with a sister troop, that's perfectly fine with me.
- Scheduling depends on my availability, and is largely restricted to weekends and holidays. Given enough notice, weekday sessions may be possible in the late afternoon or early evening. Be aware that the workshop lasts 3 hours.
- This workshop is designed for girls of Cadette-level and above. If you feel your Junior-level scouts are ready for the TRPG Workshop, I'm more than happy to run it for them, too.
